What AIvatars is

A real-time AI avatar that listens, understands, and answers out loud — on a website, in an app, or on a kiosk.

AIvatars is a platform for conversational digital humans. A visitor speaks; a photorealistic avatar answers in natural speech, on camera, in real time. No menus, no typing, no waiting for an agent.

The product is built by Zorge Lab, which has been working on digital humans since 2022 — first in medical computer vision, then in game-engine character rendering, now in real-time avatars.

What a deployment actually is

Three things, wired together and delivered as one system:

  1. A face and a voice. A 2D photoreal avatar or a 3D character rendered in Unreal Engine 5, lip-synced frame by frame to generated speech.
  2. A brain. Speech recognition, your knowledge base, the language model of your choice, and text-to-speech, running as one streaming pipeline.
  3. A place to put it. A web page, a mobile app, or a physical kiosk — the same avatar on all three surfaces.

What it is good at

Use case What the avatar does
Public information desk Answers visitor questions 24/7 in 50+ languages, in a mall, airport, hotel, hospital, or government office
Customer service Handles Tier-1 questions consistently across web, in-store screens, and kiosk
Guided procedures Walks a user through a multi-step request, collecting and confirming each field
Training and onboarding Delivers the same explanation to every cohort, and answers follow-ups
Reception and HR Greets visitors, answers policy questions, walks new hires through day one

What it is not

  • It is not a video-generation tool. Avatars converse live; they are not rendered offline into clips.
  • It is not a chatbot with a face bolted on. Speech is full-duplex — the user can interrupt mid-sentence and the avatar stops and listens.
  • It does not lock you to one language model. You bring the LLM, or use ours.
